Rain Forest Resort Village

It's a beautiful place to just relax. Lots of easy trails, incredible forest views, and the lake was very serene. The Salmon House is very good. The room was a suite with a nice balcony. But the walls are pretty thin, you could hear normal conversation in both the suites to each side.

My daughter and I stayed here just one night and had a very relaxing stay. Location is perfect for exploring both sides of the lake. We enjoyed a meal at the Salmon House...restaurant onsite. Excellent service and delicious food. We loved the views of the lake from our room and would definitely stay here again

I didnt stay here, but did stop in to their shop and was very impressed by the variety of stuff for sale. Its hard to find souvenirs in a lot of the Olympic Peninsula, but this store has a lot of locally made items that range from cute and whimsical to cool and practical. Not to mention the view!

We absolutely loved this spot. We had no plans of where we were gonna stay as we were doing a trek down through the Olympics. We wanted to see the Sitka Spruce and were immediately taken back by the views. We walked into the office to get wifi to check hotel options as we opted out of Aberdeen. This place was way too pretty to not stay here. We had an AMAZING dinner at the Salmon House Restaurant (garlic bread, steak, blackened salmon) it was all amazing. Small town restaurants are sometimes hit or miss. You never know what you’re gonna get, but this really stood out and was better than some fine dining spots that we’ve had. Joe, the owner is a hard-working man who we saw on the grounds doing what young men should be doing, but it really just shows how much he loves and cares about his property. He’s been here since the 70s. We got to hang out with him and the lady at the desk and they were super helpful. I would highly recommend this place and I encourage people to come and stay here and eat at the restaurant and support this family. We will absolutely be back.

Had a great time here. The rooms are a bit old but they were clean and had all the amenities. Definitely come by here in the summer. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking. The Sitka spruce is not overrated, definitely worth a visit.

The location of this motel is fantastic! We had a view of Lake Quinalt which was beautiful. I reserved two queens and we actually had two separate rooms. One had the bathroom and one had the TV. The rooms are older but the beds are really comfortable. The price for both rooms was really reasonable. It was also very quiet, but the Internet is weak and there are only 4 TV channels so plan on recharging and disconnecting. There are only three restaurants near the rain forest and this motel is right across the street from the Salmon House, which is one of the three. There is a little general store where you check in to the motel where you can buy snacks and drinks. It is open from 9 am- 8 pm so if you check out prior to 9:00 you just drop your keys in a box. It was wonderful being so close to all the hiking as well as the lake. We had an incredible time.

We stayed in RV site 31 with a beautiful view of Lake Quinault. All sites have water and electric hookups, and are grassy, which was great for our pups. The gentleman at check in was so friendly and helpful. There are coin operated showers, and although we didn't use them, they looked clean and well kept. The only drawback is no sewer hookups and no dump station within 30 miles, making it difficult to stay longer than a few days. Overall, this was a lovely campground and would highly recommend.

Loved it! Booked one of the private cabins and had a great time. The nicest employees working at the desk gave us a very warm welcome. The salmon house has amazing food (loved my dill salmon). Overall just awesome. Trail right out to the largest spruce right by the restaurant.
